This may just be my new favorite winery in Temecula- my friend and I went two days ago to check out some of the wineries down there and we were driving past Palumbo on the way to Leonesse and randomly decided to stop in and we are SO glad we did! The winery is one of the most gorgeous I've seen and the tasting room is so quaint and such a small family feel to it, not to mention that the wines blew me away, I got a delicious Cab Franc that I'm in love with, my only regret- I left with only one bottle and not a case!

This is a small, family-owned operation with wine that surpasses all of the big guys in quality.  Their tasting room is tiny, and I'm pretty sure they like advance notice if you're coming with a big group or in a limo, but it's absolutely worth it.  The view from their patio is beautiful.  We have been wine club members with them for a little over a year now, I think, and I really look forward to our shipments.

This was a great little hidden gem on a secret side road, up a secret driveway, in a secret barn.  Shhhhh.....

There is a tiny little tasting room surrounded by the beautiful vineyards. There is also a little patio to enjoy a glass or a bottle.

I have a agree with the other reviews that the Syrah was wonderful.  Spicy on the nose and figgy and smokey on the tongue.

There are also these gorgeous hand crafted rocking chairs made from one wine barrel with no nails or screws, only handcrafted wooden pegs. Just beautiful and it was so comfortable. And proceeds go to a worthy cause.

I usually avoid the main winery road like the plague. To corporate, half assed wines, chaotic, bachelorette parties, no knowledgeable wine servers. This is such a nice, small, simple respite from the crazy main road and even more hidden then De Portola Rd. This is worth a quick stop on your wine tours.
